As of the end of August, the Ahavas Israel Endowment Fund contained approximately $315,000. Of that, a little more than $100,000 represents two individual endowments - The Judy Subar Endowment, and an Anonymous endowment. We are grateful to these two individuals for their generosity. All of the earnings from the endowment fund contribute to our annual general fund budget, supporting property maintenance, programming, religious school, and staff salaries.
Have you remembered Ahavas Israel in your estate planning? If each of our members tithed a small percentage of their estate, our future will be secure for many years, allowing us to serve the Jewish community and take care of our building and grounds. Each gift or promised bequest demonstrates that Ahavas Israel has touched the lives of its members in significant ways and is a promise that there will be another generation Jews nurtured by Ahavas Israel. For more information, contact Stuart Rapaport or Rabbi Krishef.
Gifts to the Endowment Fund will receive special recognition at the levels of $50,000, $100,000, $ 250,000, $500,000, and $1,000,000. In addition, those giving $50,000 or more will have the opportunity, if they choose, to name an Endowment Fund.
